The past 6 months has been an incredible journey, from staying out of school because of the unresolved issues between the Federal Government and the University body to a whole week of Grand Pa’s life celebration, to intensive work on myself and the blog. Again, the past 6 months has been next level improvement and I’ll be sharing with you how to become incredibly unrecognizable in 6 months and experience next level improvement.
THE BITTER TRUTH
How do I become incredibly unrecognizable in 6 months? I guess this is a question you must have asked your inner self at one point and in different ways right?
Change is something that will happen whether we intentionally make efforts to change or not but changing your life for good is something that you must make effort to achieve. Everybody wants to change things and improve their lives but, unfortunately, 80% of the people only say it and don’t do it.
Before we get into how to incredibly become unrecognizable in 6 months, here is the truth; I can only genuinely tell and motivate you on what to do in order to improve yourself. The work and responsibility are hundred percent on you to make changes. Like they say,
Every man is an architect of his own fortune.
WHERE TO BEGIN? AUDIT YOUR LIFE
FIRST THINGS FIRST; AUDIT YOUR LIFE.
Going on a journey has a beginning right? So where to begin?
Start by auditing your life. Sit back and carefully reflect on the past few months, years, and life before now. To do this effectively, you need to examine and ask yourself critical questions and give yourself honest answers in order to adjust and put necessary things in place.
The purpose of a self-audit is to know what you’re doing right or wrong, collect data and use these metrics to improve life’s performance.
HOW TO BECOME INCREDIBLY UNRECOGNIZABLE IN 6 MONTHS.
1. LEAVE YOUR COMFORT ZONE.
Your comfort zone can be where you get three square meals a day, where you don’t have to do anything but someone will always come through for you. It can also be a place of rest.
The majority of us get too comfortable in our comfort zone but it is not ideal for personal growth. If you want to develop your personality, make+ leaving your comfort zone a habit.
For instance, my bed is my comfort zone, it is for everybody, right? I realize that whenever I write by my bedside, within few minutes time, I get sleepy and abandon the laptop. So what I do is, I try as much as possible to use the table or the dining area when I’m working and it has resulted in increased productivity whenever I’m working.
2. DISAPPEAR FOR 6 MONTHS
I sincerely cannot help you if you want to run from yourself, but if you’re sick of people and your environment and want to take some time in order to learn a new skills, grow and gain a new perspectives, then keep reading..
I have disappeared time and time again just to grow and enjoy my company so talking about this is a piece of cake. I don’t mean to brag though.
A few things I do when going ghost mode are get rid of social media apps, get a new phone or phone number at most, and disconnect your line. The first few days can be very hard and sentimental and it gets lonely but, you’re entering a molding and transitional phase.
You have to completely shift your focus from your old life and build a new one.
If it requires you to go to a new city and you have the means, do that. If not, begin with your mindset, and stop going to places or seeing people that will only bring back the old you.
Scarcity creates value

If you are disappearing to develop a new skill, get to work, read up everything there is to be read, and never stop learning.
As long as you’re growing , growth and success will eventually manifest.

3. AVOID THE SOCIAL MEDIA PLAGUE
When you are on a journey to completely change your life, distractions are things you must take note of. Social media can be very addictive. Research has shown that an average person 5 hours of the day on social media, take 5 hours out of your, and ask yourself, how many hours are left to get your shit together.
Give yourself a break from social media, you won’t miss anything but you’d miss the chance to transform your life if you’re controlled by social media.
4. ZERO YOUR MIND FROM PROFIT
It is a good thing to want to earn, I mean who doesn’t, but when you are trying to improve on skills, knowledge, and life, you have to put aside making a profit for the first few months. For instance, first few months of blogging, things didn’t turn out the way I expected.
I always knew it wasn’t gonna be easy but didn’t think it would take that long for me to start making money. I had zero mind on making money but rather than focus on providing my audience with useful and helpful content. I went on to keep learning the dynamics of blogging, and the technicalities and kept writing quality content.
Of course, money is important and it will come, but you have to give value to get value and money is valuable.
5. DISCIPLINE IS A MAJOR FACTOR
Discipline is a driving factor of growth when you want to purposefully invest in yourself. It means still keeping on when you are not comfortable or motivated to do something. In this typical case transforming your life in 6 months, you need to be extremely disciplined because there will be days you’ll feel like giving up and just returning a mediocre to the world.
Keep your mind constantly focused on the goal, your hunger for success should surpass any setbacks. Tell yourself that it is possible. It is one thing to want change but having the willpower to make that change when you lack motivation, that’s discipline. Regardless of how much it hurts, keep going.
6. DEFINE YOUR GOALS.
Goals! Goals!! Goals!!!
Goals give a sense of direction and priority. To become something, you need to go after something that aligns with your dream. Gaining confidence or learning new habits is a goal hence, you need to aim at being confident.
You need to set and define your goals for the 6 months period. Set short-term goals, be specific, and have one important thing you want to accomplish by the end of 3-6 months.
The reason because, you can’t transform or change everything, there will always be another 6 months to dive into another goal. So this way you can focus on achieving this one particular objective.
7. FORTIFY YOUR MENTAL HEALTH.
You cannot improve your life If your mental health is a wreck. Everything begins in the mind. A good dosage of mental care will keep you on the right track.
Personally, few things that help me help with my mental health is journaling. I’m most times not comfortable sharing my problems, so I journal my thoughts. When I’m sad, happy or a significant event occurs.
I also cherish my solitude , and alone time; I do have a small circle of friends but I prefer to always take time to be by myself. Reflect and collect my thoughts. Keeping a small circle of friends will prevent negative energy from draining yours.
Other things you can do is go for a long walk while listening to calming music, exercising and swimming.
8. MINDSET
If your mind is not completely interested in the journey, you want to embark on, you are not going to grow. If you really want to be reborn as a highbred valuable asset, you must have a growth mindset, a can-do-it mindset. A growth mindset is one that is always ready to change a negative narrative to a positive one.
A positive energy is willing to face challenges, and reach the end to get what they want. Hence mindset plays a significant role in your personal development and life’s journey.
WHAT CAN I ACHIEVE IN 6 MONTHS?
I have asked myself this question a lot of times. When we try to set a time limit for the accomplishment of goals, we may creep out because for a second, we may feel what if it doesn’t come to pass but the truth is goals don’t come to pass. You make it happen.
There are numerous goals you can accomplish in 6 months depending on your devotion and prioritize. For 6 months, it is advisable to set short-term goals. Realistic and smart goals. Hence in 6 months here are things you can accomplish and improve.

I love how you set a time period of ‘6 months’ for this ultimate shift. This is exactly how much time someone would need to turn their life around. It’s not something that can happen overnight. Habits take longer to build.
Amazing tips. Thank you for writing this.
I love the phrase, “We always overestimate what we can do in a short amount of time and underestimate what we can do over a long period of time” I like the idea of giving yourself six months to make some changes. That will help to reset and build some habits for the long term.
Great tips! It’s amazing what changes could happen in six months. My biggest hurdle for change is discipline. I can get all excited and set ylmyself up for changes like weight-loss, but the commitment toward the goal can be tough. Thanks for a great six month plan of attack!
These are all great tips. I know that I need to redefine my goals
I like the 6 month period for goals. I’ve done that for a few goals before, it was a very comfortable time frame to accomplish things.
Leaving your comfort zone is big. I’m doing that through blogging. Writing my thoughts, building social media, and putting myself out there is anxiety-triggering. Finally being able to say what I want to say is gradually lowering that anxiety though.
Thanks for posting this advice!
As hard as it is, you need to put in the work and discipline yourself to make the change! This is such an inspiring post to get many people going! Anyone can do it!
