Hey you! I’m really excited to write about this topic. I don’t know the reason in particular, maybe because  I’ve had one or two interesting experiences here. I’m gonna be sharing with you, 17  interesting accessories to add spice to your law student outfits.

If you’re a law student in Nigeria, when it comes to what we wear, two things come to mind; black and white. Black and white are basically our uniform colors as it is called, what we wear as long as are studying law in Nigeria. We literally get teased about how boring our fits are. IKR!

Some colleges allow the options of dresses, pants along with skirts while others don’t, my school is, strictly black skirt and white shirt for the ladies. okay! I think the LAWSAN government needs to look into that. I’m not sure about other parts of the world or countries, my country is strictly business casual. I had them tell me that my outfit is too stylish, look official, simple but professional but the fashionista in me won’t let it. So, in light of this, I have curated 17 interesting accessories that you can wear to add spice so your appearance doesn’t look so monochromatic henceforth.

17 INTERESTING ACCESSORIES TO ADD SPICE TO YOUR LAW STUDENT OUTFITS

  • WRISTWATCH

This is for both ladies and gentlemen. wristwatches switch up and compliment our outfits. It’s an important accessory aside from the fact that we use it to tell time, it shows class and status. Why do you think stylish and classic men pop out their wristwatches whenever they pose for the camera? I’ll let you answer that. Wristwatches are investments, invest in a good wristwatch it doesn’t have to be over the top.

  • BELTS

Come on Agnes! belts are normal accessories, this is what you’re probably thinking but, ladies there are varieties of belts out there. babes take your time to find aesthetic belts that match your black. Preferably go for wide-width belts such as corset belts, wide waist belts, high waisted belts as these types of belts accentuates your body and add style. Guys do not leave your belt loops empty, it makes your whole outfit look empty.

  • COLLAR PINS, CLIPS, AND COLLAR CHAINS
  • BROOCHES, LAPELS
  • MOFLARS
  • GLASSES

By this, we’re not referring to the nerdy students or librarian glasses. My favorite is the vintage glasses. Look out for glasses with prints and patterns even bright colored patterns

  •  SUIT

Guys! We love to see you in suits, it just adds class to your appearance. For the ladies, I personally feel suits look stylish on us when we match them with heels. If you can handle the trouble of wearing heels to class fine girl! Suppose there’s a special event like a mock trial debate moot etc  wear a suit or business casual especially if you’re unaware of the official dress code

  • BRACELET

A piece of bracelet is enough to brighten your outfit, it’s a legal class, not an Indian wedding bro! Less is best to look stylish and still not break the rules

  • CUFFLINKS
  • TIE

Having a tie can switch up your look but don’t need to wear a tie all the time. The purpose is to have a different look occasionally. You can always wear your suit on a  plain white shirt and even leave the first button of your shirt undone, a little charm won’t be any trouble

  • NAME TAG

A square name tag is recommended against the rectangular shape. Let’s leave the latter for high school prefects. Your name, nickname personal motto, Latin words, and even the lady of justice could be inscribed on the name tag

  • A PIECE OF JEWELRY

My favorite piece of jewelry is knuckle rings. I love! love! knuckle rings, I could wear a minimal neck chain whenever I feel like but, but you see knuckle rings? I never forget to wear them. They’re so fashionable and affordable and  should be incorporated into your outfits

  • MAKEUP

Okay sisturrr!  Your black and white in this context doesn’t mean mourning, second, makeup is not going to reduce your C.G.P so calm down. Makeup can of course change your whole countenance. Wear the right amount of makeup to brighten up your look. Boys and girls moisturize especially on days you don’t feel like wearing makeup or don’t have time. Never leave your lips unattended, the least you could do is a lip gloss or balm

  • HANDBAG, MAN PURSE, BRIEFCASE

Bags add so much to an outfit, not carrying a bag makes it feel like something is missing. Ladies, a quality bag is a perfect complement to your dress, you can go with bright colored bags or stick with cool colors. For the guys, a classic brown, black, grey-colored bag or briefcase is just perfect

  • SCARVES

There are so many DIYs to do with your scarves ladies. Scarves are great accessories, you can weave, wrap to your bag, tie on your neck, and also use as a belt.

  • SHOES

Shoes add style and class to your appearance. The type of shoe you wear can elevate a boring outfit. Own at least three different pairs of blacks shoes with different designs and you’re good to go

GENERAL INFO

Ladies, I recommend you try out things that would just make your wears a little different in as much, you’re not getting in trouble. Fix and paint your nails minimally, wear earrings, and bright colored lipstick, style your hair in different ways, and incorporate other items like belts, scarves, hairbands into your wear. Guys have different pants/ trousers and shirts in your size.

The trousers shouldn’t be above your ankle [jump up] and shouldn’t drown your shoes either [too long]. There you have it, 17 interesting accessories to add spice to your law student outfits.

Lastly everyone, always have with you, manners, poise, elegance, charisma, and  CONFIDENCE.

OH! if you’re a law student in other parts of the world, comment on how you dress, are there special attires? I’ll like to know. Leave comments on this post and help SHARE! Thank you!
